Dennis Marschalko made these wonderful grips for Katya, my Bulgarian Makarov:
They’re a perfect fit, and it’s nice to have the thin contour of the gun back. The stock plastic grips for the Makarov are terrible, and I’d been shooting with the Pearce rubber grips, which are good, but they’re fat and tend to catch on clothing.
The wood is Khaya, and given that the front strap has no serrations, Dennis was able to checker the grips for me. The result feels perfect in the hand, not to mention looking great.
