18 months now, ~2400 rounds, one failure. One, and that was with oddball 147gr subsonic ammunition. The pistol has fed nine separate factory defensive loadings and countless target loads without fail.
I continue to be quite pleased with it.
A few notes. The gun appears to group best with warm 115gr target loadings, possibly owing to its lineage as a NATO pistol. My preferred defensive loading in 9mm is the Black Hills 124gr +P, with which the CZ also groups quite nicely.
The least consistent ammunition was the Ranger SXT in 147gr, which was a bit surprising considering that it groups very nicely from a Beretta. In any case, I’m not sold on the utility of the heavier bullet weights in 9mm, and I consider it a non-issue.
On the faster end of the spectrum, the gun happily feeds the Winchester 127gr +P+ loading, though I noticed a few shells bouncing off my chest on ejection. The Hirtenberger 100gr +P+ feeds without issue, but point of impact was about 2″ low.
