It took awhile, but I finally got a set of grips I’d always wanted from Hakan Pek. They’re black laminate with a slight concave swell at the thumbrest.
I’m not a great photographer, and the colors make it hard to get a good shot, but you can see the stock image here.
Before you pester the guy, bear in mind he’s suffering some chronic back problems and not currently accepting any new orders.
It’s funny, but I’d originally picked this up as a “beater” gun due to its price. Instead, I came to realize that it shoots just as well as my Sigs on a good day, so it’s become a regular carry gun in cold weather. The factory grips are functional and more than adequate, but a gun like this deserves to look pretty.
